- Does FamYarn sell or share my family data?No. FamYarn is funded by subscriptions and does not sell, share, or repackage your family data.
- Can strangers see or change my family tree?No. A new tree is visible only to you and the relatives you invite, and only people you make editors can change it.
- Will FamYarn use my family photos to train AI?No. FamYarn does not train AI on your family history, and does not let the companies it works with train on it either.
- Can I download my family tree?Yes. You can download a tree as a GEDCOM file, the format other family history programs import, on every plan.
- Can I keep living relatives private?Yes. Only relatives you invite can see your tree, and share links leave out anyone who may still be living.
